چکیده
Abstract Objective Older adults with HIV are at increased risk for difficulties instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Awareness their functional capacity has emerged as an important area research, but it is not well studied in PWH. The purpose this study is: (1) to identify factors associated subjective and objective IADL difficulty PWH (2) under- or over-reporting difficulties. Methods This cross-sectional included 261 HIV. Participants completed a neuropsychological battery, self-report performance-based measures IADLs. Self-report the Patient’s Assessment Own Functioning Inventory (PAOFI) Lawton Brody Questionnaire. Timed Instrumental Activities Daily Living (TIADL) task was used measure. Hierarchical multiple regressions were performed assessment everyday functioning discrepancy between actual performance IADLS. Results On PAOFI, higher depression (p = 0.001), lower conscientiousness > better processing speed 0.017) predicted worse functioning. Brody, 0.049) TIADL, older age 0.1), WRAT-4 score motor function 0.1) performance. Processing IADLs 0.1). Conclusions Several demographic, cognitive, personality variables functioning, individual’s ability accurately self-appraise capacity.
